Dear Parents/Guardians
We hope you are all keeping well and your daughter is enjoying her first term in school.
On Tuesday 30th of September at 6.30pm, there will be a talk for all parents from our guest speaker Debbie Keogh from St. Helena’s Family Resource Centre. Debbie and her team have been working with parents in our community for many years, providing support and advice to parents as they face the common challenges that arise with parenting teenagers. Debbie will highlight the supports available to parents such as Triple P Parenting and Fearless, which specifically helps parents who are dealing with anxious teens.
We believe that these topics are essential for us to understand as parents, as they directly impact the lives of our children. We look forward to welcoming you on the night.
Debbie’s talk will be followed by the AGM of the Parents’ Association at 7pm. All parents/guardians of students attending the school are automatically members of the Parents Association and are welcome to attend. It is a valuable opportunity to get involved in the school community and to find out what is happening in school each term. It is also when the Parents’ Association Committee for the new year is elected.
All parents are very welcome and encouraged to attend both meetings. We hope to see as many of you as possible there. A letter will be sent home with your daughter today.
